Your Dashboard

The dashboard is where Unwrap actually shows you your data. This page explains what each part means and how to make it your own.

Anatomy of the dashboard

When you land on /dashboard, you see four things:

  1. Your profile — your display name and avatar, top of the page.
  2. Time range selector — chips that filter every stat below to a specific window.
  3. Category picker — controls which stat cards are shown.
  4. Stat cards — the actual data, one card per category you've enabled.

All cards respond to the time range you pick. Switch from All Time to Past Week and every card updates.

Time ranges

The time range selector controls the window every stat is calculated over. Six options, all calculated from today:

ChipWhat it covers
TodayPlays from midnight today onwards
Past WeekThe last 7 days
Past MonthThe last 30 days
6 MonthsThe last 6 months
Past YearThe last 12 months
All TimeEverything in your uploaded history

All Time is the default and is what makes Unwrap different from Spotify Wrapped, which only ever sees the last year.

What each stat card means

Eight categories are available. Pick any combination from the Customise picker.

Top Tracks

Your most-played individual songs in the range. Each entry shows the rank, track name, artist, and play count.

Top Artists

Your most-listened-to artists by total play count.

Top Genres

Your most-listened-to genres, derived from the artists you played.

Top Skips

Tracks you started but skipped most often. Useful for spotting songs that show up in your queue but you never actually want to hear.

Top Replays

Tracks you played, then immediately played again. A signal of obsession.

Peak Listening Hour

The single hour of the day (e.g. 9pm) when you've played the most music in the range.

Most Active Day

The single date with the highest play count in the range.

Total Minutes Listened

Total time you've actively listened during the selected range, rounded to the nearest minute.

Customising what you see

Click Customise to open the category picker. Tick or untick any category to add or remove it.

Five categories are shown by default: Top Tracks, Top Artists, Top Genres, Peak Listening Hour and Total Minutes Listened.

NOTE

You can't untick every category. Unwrap keeps at least one card on the dashboard so it never goes blank.

Your preferences are remembered

The time range and category selections are saved to your browser's local storage. Refresh the page, close the tab, come back next week and your dashboard looks the way you left it.

Per browser, not per account

Because preferences are stored in your browser, switching devices (or clearing browser data) will reset the dashboard to defaults. Your listening data is never affected, only the layout preferences.

Your Wrapped

Unwrap also includes a Wrapped view, a slide-by-slide annual summary, similar in spirit to Spotify's.
